Yolanda Margarita Barajas Vallo, 61, of Victor, Idaho, was received back into the waiting arms of her heavenly father on Sept. 27, 2009, after injuries received in a motorcycle accident. She was born April 6, 1948, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, to Jose Barajas and Christina Rosa Mendez Barajas. She was raised and attended schools in Lodi, Calif. She graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1967. On Feb. 8, 1970, Yolanda married Nicky Joseph Vallo in Lake Tahoe, Calif. They lived there until they moved to Teton Valley, Idaho, in 1974. She worked for The Timberline, First American Title and the Teton County Courthouse. She loved her work, making jewelry, crocheting, spending time with her grandkids, motorbike rides with her husband and dear friend and visiting family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her father, Jose Barajas and stepson, Joe Vallo Jr. She is survived by her husband, Joe Vallo; children, Nichole Josephine (Jeremy R.) Hansen and Jake Vallo; siblings, Steven, George, Mike, David and Rebecca Lok; and 12 grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at the Driggs LDS Stake Center in Driggs. In lieu of flowers, there is an account set up at the Bank of Commerce in Driggs under Nichole Hansen for the benefit of Yolanda and Joe Vallo.
