Robert Anthony Vostrejs, Jr.
Robert (Bob) Anthony Vostrejs, Jr., 72, of Tetonia, Idaho, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 22, 2023. Bob was born in 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska. His father’s employment transferred the family across many states every few years, eventually calling Ormond Beach, Florida, home. Bob completed his undergraduate degree at Florida State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 1976. He went on to have a successful career as a trial attorney in Ocala, Florida, until his retirement in 2001. After retirement, Bob and his beloved wife, Denise, made Teton Valley, Idaho, their permanent residence.
Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, camping, fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, 4-wheeling, shooting skeet, scuba diving, and spending time with his friends. He dedicated himself to the betterment of his community, wearing various hats with grace and purpose. He served as a dedicated volunteer principal at Teton Christian Academy, generously gave his time to Old Faithful Christian Ranch in Island Park, Idaho, and played a pivotal role in numerous neighborhood initiatives. His spiritual devotion was evident through his active involvement and profound faith. He was an honest, hardworking, friendly, helpful, and loving man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and he is truly ALIVE and walking with Jesus today and for eternity.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Anthony Vostrejs, and his brother, David Vostrejs. Bob is survived by his wife of 36 years, Denise Vostrejs; their children, Ginger (Chris) Marino, of Clermont, FL, and Ryan (Caroline) Vostrejs, of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Brandon Marino, Lauren Marino, Katie Marino, and Anna Vostrejs; his mother, Alicia Vostrejs, of Ormond Beach, FL, and eight siblings.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Bob will be held at Moose Creek Ranch in Victor, Idaho, on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon to share memories and celebrate a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Old Faithful Christian Ranch (145 6th Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401), a place close to Bob's heart.
