Rena Lagana, local caregiver and long time Tetonia, Idaho resident died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 17th in Idaho Falls. Rena suffered from Lupus and contracted an infection that took her life. 

Rena is survived by her husband, Bret Lagana; her two daughters, Darcy Lagana and Dana Campbell; and her four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Warren Knapp; her mother, Beth Knapp; and her son, Jason Lagana. 

Rena was born on January 12, 1958, in Ashton, Idaho to Warren and Beth Knapp. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1976. Rena was married to Bret Lagana on September 16, 1978. 

Rena was a loving wife and mother. She loved the outdoors and was always active. She was very passionate about her horses and dogs throughout her life. She worked at the Corner Drug for many years serving the community. She later became an LPN and started working as a caregiver. After several years of caregiving, she started her own company called Loving Hands Caregiving. 

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, October 25th at the Driggs Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
