Reginald "Reg" Roberts

May 18, 1957 — February 16, 2025

Driggs

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our adored father, grandfather, and husband, Reginald Reed Roberts. On February 16, 2025, Reg passed away peacefully in the arms of his beloved wife after several years battling the effects of strokes and a traumatic brain injury, he was sixty-seven.

Reg was a man of enormous strength, unwavering drive, and an undeniable love for life. Reg blazed the trail, led the pack, and always led his team to victory. As a successful concrete business owner, he poured hundreds of foundations, walls, and bridges, and built a legacy in his community, where he taught countless individuals the trade he loved. His work ethic, honesty, commitment, zest for life, and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Reg loved spending time outdoors with his family and friends. He had a passion for early morning fishing trips, waterskiing, hunting, snowmobiling, and camping. He never had a fear of sending his skis straight down the mountain or going into the backcountry without any of the proper gear. He loved making memories and building traditions, like getting Christmas trees on the snowmobiles with anyone that wanted to join. He found joy in the thrill of razor rides, fast cars, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, including the Utah Jazz, BYU Cougars, San Francisco 49ers, and Chicago Bears. Reg was thrilled when he had the opportunity to move dirt in the backhoe with the grandkids. He always looked forward to his next Cruise with our mama, lunch or dinner at Golden Corral, or just about any meal that he could say “this is the best meal I’ve ever had!”.

In addition to his professional achievements, Reg had an undeniable love for his high school sweetheart, Debbie. Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Their love story started at an early age and was filled with love, laughter, challenges, victories, and everything in between.

Reg was a man of strong values; he was an Eagle Scout at the age of 14 and a dedicated member of the LDS church. His faith and principles guided him through life, and he was a great example of how to live life to the fullest.

He will be remembered as a force of nature and someone who beat all medical odds. He will always be known as the guy that cranked up AC/DC or Def Leppard to help get the job done. For his contributions to his community and setting the bar high in the concrete world. For always expecting you to show up on time, get the job done right, and only handing out compliments when deserved. For always being the life of the party, making people laugh, and as someone that never gave up, no matter the challenges life threw his way.

He is survived by his loving wife Debbie, his children: Reginald J. Roberts, Tiffany (Justin) Crabtree, Angie (Mark) Belliston, Jake Roberts, Lance (Brittney) Roberts, and his adored grandchildren: Justin, Adelyn, Connor, Sam, Isaac, Maxwell, Eleanor, Kayden, Cajsa, Chloe, and Lincoln.

Proceeded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Windham Roberts and father William Reed Roberts.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday February 22, 2025, at the Driggs, Idaho LDS Stake Center. A viewing will take place from 6:00p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on February 21, 2025 and February 22, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Driggs, Idaho LDS Stake Center. A light lunch will be served following the funeral. Graveside services to follow lunch.

Rest in peace Dad. We will cherish our memories of you, continue to make you proud by working hard and showing up on time, keep the music turned up, and love you forever. Until we meet again.
