MarJean 'Peacock' Brower passed away September 26th in Ashton, Idaho. MarJean was born March 1,1933 in Clawson, Idaho to Joseph and Edna Peacock, and lived in Teton Valley all of her life. She married William Reid Brower in the Idaho Falls Temple on June 20, 1951. In the early years of their marriage, Reid and MarJean enjoyed attending the horse races, often competing with their own horses. They lived in Driggs briefly and then built their home in Felt where they farmed and raised their children. MarJean worked at Grand Targhee for a few years and also cooked at the school. However, her most valued occupation was being a homemaker which she excelled at. Her children especially remember her delicious meals, and her talents with sewing, gardening, and canning.
MarJean is survived by her son Tim, her two daughters, Susan (Brad) Hill and Michelle (Josh) Bell, four grandchildren: Kayla, Hannah, Mandy, Dylan, and a great granddaughter Brynn. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reid, her parents, and her brother Larry Peacock.
Graveside services will be held in the Cache Clawson Cemetery on Saturday, September 29th at 11 a.m.
