She was born in Driggs, Idaho to Elmer and Harriet Lofthouse Little on October 9, 1924. She was a lifelong resident of Teton Valley and an active member of the L.D.S. Church. Elma worked for Schwediman Potatoes for many years. She loved to garden, take walks, being in nature and spending time with her family.
Elma is survived by her son Kent (Betty) Wood of Idaho Falls, daughters Joan Wood of Driggs, and Leora Wood of Driggs; brother Vern Little, sisters Ilene Schwab and Verda Casper. 9grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband Bishop Golden "Dode" Wood, 7brothersand sisters, son Ray Wood and 1 daughter.
A Graveside service will be on Saturday, May 8 at 12:00 at the Bates Cemetery.
