Earle Giles Jr

Earle was born in Salem, MA to Earle G. Giles, Sr. and Geraldine (Underhill) Giles. Earle spent most of his life as a resident of Beverly, MA. He was a respected Fire Fighter in Beverly from 1967 until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the IAFF Local 1669. Earle moved with his wife Carol to Victor, ID in 1995 and became involved with the Teton County Fire District and offered a wealth of knowledge he brought with him from his 28 year career as a Fire Fighter. Earle is an active retired member of the IAFF Local 4667. Earle's life revolved around Fire Fighting. He thought nothing of risks he took on a daily basis. He just wanted to be there to help no matter what the situation.

Earle was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, father-in-law, grandfather and friend. Earle is survived by his wife of 48 years Carol (Trenoweth) Giles of Victor; his sons: Earle G. Giles III (June) of Victor and Christopher W. Giles of Groveland, MA, and his daughter Carrie M. (Tracy) Phillips of Idaho Falls, ID; Granddaughter Amanda J. Giles of San Francisco, CA, Sister Meredith I. Rand of Topsfield, MA, Brother Gerald Giles of MA, and several brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at the Valley Mortuary in Driggs, Idaho.
