Donald "Max" Driggs passed away on March 5, 2015 in Driggs, Idaho. He was born on February 15, 1934 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Byron Downes Driggs and Ruth Amelia Smith. He lived his childhood in Driggs, Idaho. He was the last of 5 children born to them. He moved to Montana where he met and married the love of his life, Mary Grace Forrester, on July 24, 1956. They had 4 children, Donna Marie Driggs, James Howard Driggs, Kerri Sue Driggs, and Judy Anne (Driggs) Gonsalves. Max and Mary moved from Anaconda, Montana to Soda Springs, Idaho in 1959. Max worked for 24 years for the Monsanto Factory in Soda Springs. He retired from Monsanto in 1983. They loved their retirement and spent their time visiting their son, Jim, in Arizona and seeing all of their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Max enjoyed fishing, huckleberry picking, playing bingo, and coming to Teton Valley for visits. Mary passed away last January, 2014, and he missed her terribly. He has gone to be with his sweetheart. Max is preceded in death by his wife, Mary and his sister Grayce White; brothers Earl and Cleon "Kelly"; and his parents Byron and Ruth Driggs. He is survived by his brother, (Jack Driggs), his children (Donna, Jim, Kerri Sue, and Judy), and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. We would like to thanks Teton Peaks Assisted Living Center for their great care and Valley Mortuary for their services.
