In Loving Memory of Andy Green
May 29th, 1976 - May 18, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Andy Green. Born on May 29th, 1976, he departed this world on May 18, 2023, leaving behind an irreplaceable void in our hearts. Andy was a devoted father, a cherished sibling, and a man of remarkable gentleness.
Andy grew up and lived his entire life in Teton Valley. Andy's formative years were spent at Teton High School, where he graduated in 1994. He passionately participated in various sports, fostering a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among his peers. Outside of school, Andy's adventurous spirit led him to explore his passion for dirt bike racing, where he fearlessly pushed boundaries and experienced the thrill of competition.
After completing his education, Andy embarked on a partnership with his dear friend Kipp Hill, forming the successful A-K Concrete company. Together, they built a reputation for providing top-quality craftsmanship and reliable service to the Teton Valley community. Andy's dedication and strong work ethic were instrumental in the company's success, earning the trust and respect of numerous clients over the years.
Andy's greatest joy in life was being a father to his four children: Andrea, McKenna, Lamar, and Journie. They were the center of his universe, the very light of his life. His love for them was immeasurable, and he took great pride in guiding them, supporting their dreams, and showering them with affection. The bond he shared with his children was one of pure and unconditional love that will endure for eternity.
Andy possessed a gentle heart that touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His kind and compassionate nature brought comfort to those in need, and his empathetic spirit made him a pillar of support for his family and friends.
Andy found solace and peace in quiet solitude, preferring the serene beauty of nature over crowded spaces. Fishing, hunting, and camping were his cherished hobbies, especially when enjoyed in the company of his loved ones. Whether it was fishing at Grassy Lake or gathering around a crackling campfire with family and friends, Andy found immense joy and contentment in these shared moments outdoors.
Andy's legacy of love, kindness, and appreciation for the simpler things in life will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering dedication to his family, his gentle nature, and his passion for nature will be forever etched in our hearts.
Andy's time with us may have been far too short, but the impact he made during his lifetime is immeasurable. As we navigate the profound grief of his loss, let us remember to cherish the memories we shared with him and carry forward his values of love, compassion, and the joy found in the beauty of nature.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Andy at the Tetonia LDS church on Thursday, May 25th. Friends and family visitation will start at 9:00 with the service at 11:00. We invite all those whose lives he touched to come together to celebrate his life and share in the love and support that he always bestowed upon us.
Andy Green, our beloved son, brother, and father, may you find eternal peace in the embrace of nature's beauty. Though you are no longer physically with us, your spirit will forever live on in our hearts, guiding us through life's journeys until we meet again.
"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear."
